Challenges Ahead—but Momentum Is Unstoppable
Of course, solar’s growth is not without challenges. Land use, intermittency, and the need for efficient storage solutions remain pressing issues. Supply chain vulnerabilities and reliance on rare materials also warrant attention. However, the trajectory is clear: innovation, policy, and capital are converging to address these bottlenecks at scale.
The broader energy mix will still include wind, hydro, and other renewables, but solar stands uniquely positioned—affordable, scalable, and universally available—to lead the charge.
