MIC Electronics Achieves Pan-India Railway Milestone with ₹1.53 Crore Multi-Zone ELU Orders

New Delhi: MIC Electronics Limited has secured multiple orders from various zones and production units of Indian Railways over the past one to two months for the supply of Electronic Location Units (ELU), with a total order value of approximately ₹1.53 crore. The orders further reinforce MIC Electronics’ position as a trusted technology partner supporting the modernisation of India’s railway electronic infrastructure.

The contracts have been awarded by several railway zones and establishments including Southern Railway (Golden Rock), Central Railway (Matunga), Western Railway, North Western Railway, Northern Railway, South Central Railway, South Eastern Railway, North Eastern Railway, North Central Railway, East Coast Railway, Eastern Railway (Liluah), and the Integral Coach Factory (ICF).

The orders reflect MIC Electronics’ expanding presence across multiple railway zones and production units and further strengthen its long-standing association with Indian Railways as a reliable provider of railway electronic systems.

The contracts involve the supply of ELU Type-I and ELU Type-II units, which form an essential component of railway communication and passenger information systems. These precision-engineered electronic assemblies play a vital role in ensuring seamless coordination and information flow across stations, coaches, and operational control systems within the railway network.

The total quantity across these orders stands at approximately 5,400 ELU units, with deliveries scheduled between March 2026 and April 2027, depending on the requirements of the respective railway divisions.

These orders were secured through competitive tendering processes across multiple railway zones and manufacturing units, highlighting MIC Electronics’ technical expertise, product reliability, and ability to consistently meet Indian Railways’ stringent technical specifications and delivery standards.
