Pune: The inauguration ceremony of the Pune Machine Tool Exhibition (PMTX) 2024, alongside the maiden edition of FACTEQ 2024 took place at the Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Moshi Pune on Saturday May 25, 2024.
The inauguration was attended by industry leaders such as Rajendra S. Rajamane, President of IMTMA and Managing Director of Rajamane Industries Pvt. Ltd.; Jibak Dasgupta, Director General and CEO of IMTMA and BIEC; Farrokh N. Cooper, Chairman and Managing Director of Cooper Corporation Pvt. Ltd.; Amol Nagar, Executive Director of Global Supply Chain at GE Aerospace; SS Survase, Joint Director of Industries, Directorate of Industries, Government of Maharashtra; Rajesh Mandlik, Chairman of IMTMA Regional Council (West); and Mohini Kelkar, Vice President of IMTMA.
The expo will feature cutting-edge technologies and innovations in the manufacturing sector. Pune, known for its strong industrial base, will also attract delegates and visitors from various Tier II and Tier III cities including Aurangabad, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Satara, and Ahmednagar. Attendees from the neighboring state of Gujarat are also expected to participate, broadening the event’s reach and impact.
Since its inception in 2016, the Pune Machine Tool Expo has grown significantly. The inaugural event featured over 100 exhibitors and welcomed 7,400 visitors. The second edition in 2018 saw a remarkable increase in attendance, with 11,200 visitors and business orders amounting to 250 crores. The Pune Machine Tool Expo 2024 aims to surpass previous records, providing a dynamic environment for networking, collaboration, and business development. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness the latest advancements in machine tool technology, fostering innovation and growth within the manufacturing industry.
