Zimmer Group Celebrates Innovation, Automation, and Togetherness

With over 1,580 registered guests, including 365 children, the Zimmer Group celebrated its largest summer party to date on July 26, 2025, setting new standards. Despite the rainy weather, the company premises became a lively meeting place for employees, families, and international guests from all over the world.

During the summer party, Managing Director Jonas Zimmer welcomed the guests with a review of the company’s successful development and a confident look ahead. He particularly emphasized the increasing importance of automation in various areas such as smart factories, customized series production, and energy efficiency. These are areas in which the Zimmer Group is setting global trends with its innovative solutions.

According to Jonas Zimmer, megatrends such as demographic change and the growing demand for sustainability show that automation is not only an economic necessity, but also contributes to a more efficient and resource-saving future.

The summer party also marked the end of an eventful week: International sales meetings had taken place beforehand, bringing together colleagues from over 20 locations worldwide to exchange ideas in Rheinau.

A special highlight was the performance by the band Groovin’ Affairs, who created a lively atmosphere and filled the dance floor with their energetic live music. There was also plenty of food and drink on offer: a varied catering selection including pizza, ox on a spit, and delicious grilled meats left nothing to be desired.

The younger guests also got their share of fun: SPIELDRACHEN – Spielmobil e.V. Freiburg and Spaß-Events Rheinmünster offered a colorful program that made children’s eyes light up and provided creative adventures.

It was an all-around successful celebration with unforgettable impressions, a cheerful atmosphere, and a strong sense of community – entirely in keeping with the Zimmer Group spirit.
