Schneider Electric Elevates Roshan Varadarajan to Lead Industrial Automation Business for Greater India

New Delhi: Schneider Electric, a global energy technology leader, has announced the elevation of Mr. Roshan Varadarajan as Vice President, Industrial Automation, Greater India, effective July 1, 2026. This elevation underscores the company’s continued focus on advancing energy technology through digital industrial transformation and accelerating growth in one of its key strategic markets.

Roshan will lead Schneider Electric’s Industrial Automation business in Greater India, driving the adoption of software-defined open automation, Industrial AI, and digital solutions. With a strong focus on customer-centric innovation and co-creation, he will combine industry expertise with digital capabilities to deliver flexible, interoperable solutions aligned with evolving needs, enabling a new layer of industrial and energy intelligence across systems and operations.

Prior to this role, Roshan served as Director, EcoStruxure & Software Strategy at Schneider Electric, where he led enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and drove software-led growth. He has built and managed strategic P&Ls while advancing the integration of automation, software, and cybersecurity into cohesive business models, bringing a strong blend of digital strategy and business leadership.

During his tenure, Roshan has driven key initiatives, including establishing India’s first Innovation Hub. He has played a pivotal role in expanding Schneider Electric’s digital value propositions, enabling a shift from standalone products to integrated, system-level architectures aligned with modern industry needs.

Before joining Schneider Electric, Roshan held roles at ABB and L&T across R&D, industrialization, business development, application engineering, and marketing, building strong cross-functional expertise and a customer-focused approach to growth.
