New Delhi: Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM), a leading name in sustainable mobility solutions, proudly announces its association with Naari Shakti (Women Welfare Charitable Trust), as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at empowering women through mobility. Under this initiative, OSM will deploy 2500 specially designed Pink Auto Rickshaws to women drivers across India, enhancing both employment opportunities and last-mile connectivity. The OSM’s electric three-wheeler is offered at lower cost at just ₹2,59,999 (on-road, Delhi), 1% interest rate, and 1/4th the running cost of a CNG auto — we are not just offering a vehicle, offering freedom and opportunity to the Women Drivers.
This impactful collaboration seeks to offer a safe, reliable, and inclusive platform for women to become financially independent by driving these electric auto rickshaws, especially in urban and semi-urban regions. These pink autos are not only electric-powered and eco-friendly but also equipped with safety and convenience features to enhance both driver and passenger experience. Initiatives like this strongly align with the vision of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, celebrating 75 years of India’s independence by empowering women across the nation, and reflect the momentum created during India’s G20 Presidency, where gender equality and inclusive development were highlighted as key pillars of progress. This initiative stands as a testament to how national movements and global dialogues are transforming local communities and enabling women to take the driver’s seat—literally and figuratively—in India’s sustainable future.
Mr. Uday Narang, Founder and Chairman of Omega Seiki Mobility, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating:
“At Omega Seiki Mobility, we believe in powering progress through clean and inclusive mobility. Our partnership with Naari Shakti is more than just a CSR initiative—it’s a step toward social transformation. By enabling women to take the driver’s seat, literally and metaphorically, we’re not just offering them a vehicle—we’re offering a path to independence, dignity, and opportunity.”
Mrs. Safiena Joseph, President of Naari Shakti Women Welfare Charitable Trust, said:
“Naari Shakti Women Welfare Charitable Trust is dedicated to empowering women. As part of our efforts, we are actively working on promoting govt. initiatives, such as the Pradhan Mantri Yojana, to our female members, we provide awareness and training on various government- backed schemes, including MUDRA loans and startup loans”
Mrs. Joseph commented on the association, “This initiative aligns perfectly with our mission to uplift and empower women at the grassroots level. Partnering with Omega Seiki Mobility allows us to create real impact—enabling women to earn a livelihood while contributing to a cleaner environment. These pink autos will not only change the lives of the women who drive them but also inspire countless others to dream big.”
As part of its customer-first approach, Omega Seiki Mobility offers 24×7 service support to ensure uninterrupted operations for its drivers. The company has also deployed an AI-powered chatbot that assists users with service scheduling, maintenance queries, and real-time updates. In case of emergencies, dedicated support teams are on standby to provide immediate assistance. The Pink Auto Rickshaws will also come equipped with GPS and emergency alert systems for added safety. This comprehensive support ecosystem reflects OSM’s unwavering commitment to reliability, safety, and customer empowerment.
The first fleet of Pink Auto Rickshaws will be deployed in Delhi NCR, followed by rollouts in Bangalore, North Karnataka and Chennai Cities over the coming months. Driver training, financial literacy programs, and ongoing support will be provided to all selected women drivers to ensure sustainable livelihood and safe operations.
With this initiative, Omega Seiki Mobility and Naari Shakti reaffirm their commitment to creating a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable future.
