New Delhi: MIC Electronics Limited, a leading provider of intelligent electronic display and communication solutions, has received the Completion Certificate from Western Railway’s Rajkot Division for the successful execution of its Coach Indicator Board project, reinforcing the company’s proven execution capabilities in railway passenger information systems.
Issued by the Rajkot Division of Western Railway, the Completion Certificate confirms that the project has been completed satisfactorily, all contractual obligations have been fulfilled, there are no dues pending against the contractor, and the final bill has been settled.
The project comprised the design, engineering, supply, testing, commissioning, and end-to-end integration of Coach Indicator Boards across six platforms at Surendranagar, Bhavnagar Terminus, Hapa, and Okha railway stations under the Rajkot Division of Western Railway.
Commenting on the achievement, Mr. Rakshit Mathur, CEO of MIC Electronics, said:”Receiving the Completion Certificate from Western Railway is a significant milestone that reflects our unwavering commitment to execution excellence and engineering quality. Our involvement in this project spanned the entire value chain, from design and engineering to supply, testing, commissioning, and seamless integration with railway systems. As Indian Railways continues to modernize its passenger infrastructure, MIC Electronics remains committed to delivering reliable, technology-driven solutions that enhance passenger experience and improve operational efficiency.”
MIC Electronics’ Coach Indicator Boards are designed specifically for India’s demanding railway operating conditions. Equipped with high-brightness LED displays, the systems ensure superior visibility across varying weather and lighting conditions while providing real-time coach positioning and train information via centralised control systems. Built to withstand vibration, dust, moisture, and extreme climatic conditions, the solutions are engineered to deliver reliable performance across diverse railway environments.
Beyond the technology, the project is expected to significantly enhance passenger convenience by enabling commuters to accurately identify coach positions before train arrival, reducing last-minute movement on platforms and improving boarding efficiency. For railway authorities, centralized information management enables better coordination, minimises manual interventions, and supports efficient handling of schedule changes, platform reallocations, and service disruptions.
The successful completion of the project further strengthens MIC Electronics’ growing presence in India’s railway infrastructure sector and reinforces its capabilities in delivering integrated passenger information and intelligent display solutions for one of the world’s largest rail networks.
